Air-Fried Red Lentil Tofu Bites

Ingredients:

  • 135g red lentils

  • Boiling water

  • ½ tsp paprika

  • ½ tsp chili powder

  • ½ tsp cumin powder

  • ½ tsp garlic powder

  • ½ tsp salt

  • Olive oil

Instructions:

  1. Pour boiling water over red lentils, covering them slightly. Let soak for 15 minutes.

  2. Blend soaked lentils in a food processor until smooth, forming a puree.

  3. Transfer puree to a pot over medium heat. Add paprika, chili powder, cumin, garlic powder, and salt. Stir constantly until water evaporates and mixture becomes thick and moldable.

  4. Pour mixture into a greased square container. Let set for a few hours or overnight.

  5. Gently remove set lentil tofu from container and place on a cutting board. Cut into cubes.

  6. Air-fry cubes at 185°C for 15 minutes, flipping halfway through.
